Lore Pemberton is one of my favorite illustrator <3
Some of her works remind me my childhood:
I do think that I had a very good childhood, full of adventures, fireflies and people I loved. Yes, I was lucky. I used to take my cousins to Play "Tom Sawyerobana" which meant that we should get lost in forest (unfortunately there was no Island in Racha;))
I had a cousins with whom I was reading books and then we were discussing them. It was my first book club :)
I think that in this illustration is a childhood of my best friend :))
She paints illustrations in which I would love to live :) <3
